About Seasonal Work
Seasonal work at Manitoba Greenfields is at the heart of our operations. It's a challenging but rewarding opportunity to contribute directly to Canada's food supply chain. You'll work alongside a diverse team, learn valuable skills, and experience the agricultural cycle firsthand, from planting in the spring to harvesting in the fall.
Typical Roles & Responsibilities
We offer a variety of positions to suit different skills and experience levels.
Field Labourer & Planting Crew
Responsible for planting seeds, transplanting seedlings, weeding, and general field maintenance. This role is crucial for ensuring a healthy start for our crops.
Harvest Equipment Operator
Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as combines, tractors, and balers during the peak harvest season. Experience is preferred but training is available for the right candidates.
Sorter & Packer
Work in our processing facilities to sort, grade, and pack harvested produce, ensuring it meets our high-quality standards for distribution and export.
Work Conditions & Timelines
Work is physically demanding and primarily outdoors, subject to various weather conditions. A typical season follows the natural agricultural cycle of Manitoba.

Who Can Apply?
Eligibility
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. We welcome applications from Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and individuals with valid work permits.
Physical Fitness
Candidates should be in good physical condition and able to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working long hours.
Team-Oriented
A positive, collaborative attitude is essential. You'll be working closely with a diverse team to achieve common goals.
Passion for Ag
While not required, a genuine interest in agriculture and contributing to the food system is a great asset.
